The Season of Mists III: The Lady of the Mists


She is ever-watchful, with her eyes of cold blue, the silver flecks within them endlessly glittering and reflecting underneath the light.

She is not often seen, for she only appears for passing moments before each misted-season begins, and that event is rare in itself.

The thick, swirling air is the robe of pure white that cloaks over her body. Her gentle footsteps are the earth's euphonious hymn, her soft voice is what inspires even the muses into creation, and her quiet laughter is what stirs the winds and their brethren into wakening.

If you ever chance upon catching a glimpse of the Lady of the Mists, watch yourself: You may never be able to look away from her illusion.

A collaboration of my own photos and brushes, two of of Annika's photos , Anna's brushes, the lovely Elf-maiden from Warcraft III, and a painting by Bouguereau which I airbrushed and tweaked. This amounts up to twelve photos, if I remember correctly.
